Opportunity for Summer Students

(Facilities Services – Project Management Office)

 

 

Alberta Innovates is looking to provide meaningful work experience to students who are currently enrolled in any recognized post-secondary educational institutions.  This will be a four-month engagement starting first week of May 2025.

 

Successful candidates will be paid on hourly basis, and work may be up to 36.25 hours every week.

 

 

The Opportunity

Facilities Services – PMO

  • Job Duties:

Provide administrative support to the Project Management Office team

 

  • Background Required:

Education focus:  first or second year of engineering, architectural or business-Information Technology (IT)-Communications or Marketing

 

Should possess strong organizational skills to manage tasks, schedules, and documentation effectively, along with excellent communication abilities for clear verbal and written interaction with team members and stakeholders. Analytical skills are essential for interpreting data and providing valuable insights, while technical proficiency with project management tools, office software, and basic data visualization or reporting tools is crucial for supporting project tasks. Additionally, adaptability and problem-solving skills are key to navigating dynamic environments and addressing unexpected challenges efficiently.

 

  • Physical Demands:

Physically capable of walking to do site inspections including mechanical rooms
