The Contracts and Legal Team is recruiting for a Contract Administrator to perform the following functions:

 

The Contracts Administrator plays an integral role in the Organization’s business by working closely with the Contract Management Team, Contracts Team Lead, Senior Contracts and IP Specialist, and Legal Counsel in reviewing, drafting, negotiating, executing and managing contracts within the Organization.  The Contracts Administrator also performs the role of a Proposal Coordinator by reviewing proposals for due diligence, compliance and risk. The Contracts Administrator works closely and collaboratively with other departments of the Organization to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and corporate risk standards.  The Contracts Administrator fosters close working relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders and acts as liaison between clients and Project Leads within the organization to ensure timely and efficient management of contracts and legal commitments.  This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, fast past organization and gain experience working collaboratively with a team of senior contracts and legal experts.

 

Education and Experience Required:

 

We are seeking a Contracts Administrator who has 5+ years’ experience with contracts administration and management and is familiar dealing with revenue and expenditure agreements in a medium to large setting environment.  The candidate will be familiar with contract and business law, insurance and risk management, intellectual property, reviewing and negotiation legal terms and conditions, and have experience working with legal templates. The successful incumbant must have exceptional skills in Microsoft Word and is familiar with database contract management system. Candidate must have business acumen and exposure to working with government, academic institutions and industry.

  • Preference will be given to candidates who display positive attitude, initiative and ability to work in a team oriented environment
  • Must be a team player and show willingness to learn
  • Analytical and problem solving skills are a must in order to be successful in this position
