C-FER works with the global energy industry to advance safety, environmental performance and efficiency with full-scale testing and specialized engineering consulting services.  InnoTech Alberta offers a range of science, engineering and technological research talent and testing capabilities, and the facilities that can help accelerate technology development serving both the private and public sector.

 

 

Alberta Innovates is seeking a Program Associate for a 20 month term at our Edmonton location. The successful incumbent will be responsible for administering and supporting our grant funding programs as part of a team.

The successful incumbent will be accountable for, but not limited to:

  • Grants management including the processing of applications/grants and day to day program administration
  • Statistical reporting
  • Assisting with program audits
  • Payment of grants and financial tracking
  • Data management

 

 

Qualifications;

  • A diploma from a recognized post-secondary business administrative or business program
    • A university degree in a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in an office environment including handling confidential information
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to adapt well to change
  • Able to work independently under pressure, and within a team environment
  • Familiarity with standard business financial processes and procedures,
  • Understanding of contract management, terms, and conditions will be a definite asset

This position is included in the bargaining unit. The final candidate will be required to undergo a security clearance.
